If you are logged on to your home broadband and your connection is slow, rebooting your router can often resolve this.
- Firstly, shut down your laptop/tablet - click on the Windows icon in the bottom left hand corner > click on the Power icon > select Shut Down
- Locate your broadband router
- Disconnect from power supply for 10 minutes
- Reconnect to power supply and turn router back on
- Wait for the router to reboot, which can take a few minutes. During this time there may be a series of flashing lights whilst the router resets
- Once it has fully rebooted it is ready for use
- Turn your laptop/tablet back on
