I'm locked out of my Surface Pro Microsoft Account / forgotten Microsoft Account password Print

If you are locked out of your Surface Pro, or you can't remember your Microsoft log on details, you will need to reset this via the Microsoft website

1. Go to the Microsoft Live website - https://login.live.com

2. Input your email address and click Next

3. Click on the Forgotten my password option

4. Click on the relevant option i.e. I’ve forgotten my password, then click Next

5. Input your email address and type in the characters in the box, then click Next

6. Select the best option for you to receive a verification call/text/email, then click Send Code

7. Enter the code you receive, then click Next

8. Input a new password x 2, then click Next

9. You will then get a success message confirming your password has been changed
