It is good practice to restart your Surface Pro weekly, as this can resolve issues with Adapt not loading and other device issues,  it should also be the first thing to do if you are experiencing issues with your device.


Follow these steps to ensure your Surface has fully restarted:


  1. Check to make sure you saved and closed any open documents you may be using

  2. Click on the Windows Icon at the bottom left of the screen

  3. Click on the power icon just above the windows icon

  4. Click on Restart, your surface pro will now restart
