If you are unable to start Adapt please try the following steps
- Check that the Adapt System is online, any status messages will be shown here
- Login to the Sales Portal from your Surface Pro, this will confirm your device is connected to the internet, and you have a working account which is not locked out. If your account is locked out, it will be unlocked after 10 minutes
- Restart your Surface Pro, this will resolve most issues you are experiencing, and you should be notified every 5 days that a Restart is due, click How to Restart your Surface Pro for more instructions
- Check you are running the most recent version of Adapt, click How to check your Adapt Version to find out how to check your version.
- If you are not using the latest Adapt version, you must install the latest version from the sales portal, click Install the latest version of Adapt for instructions
- Check that your Avast Antivirus is up to date, click Checking your Avast antivirus is up to date for instructions. (If you do not have any antivirus installed, click Installing Avast Antivirus for instructions.)
- Check that you have the latest Windows updates installed, click Checking for Windows Updates for more instructions
- Check your Surface Pro is in Tablet Mode, click here for instructions on Switching to Tablet Mode
